Accommodation in Japan ~ Hotels & Hostel Reviews

A lot of people requested that I do more on my travel to Japan series, so in this video I’m going to talk about and review some hotels and hostels I stayed in when I went to Japan. Unfortunately no hotel or hostel tours… but if you guys are interested I can film them next time I’m in Japan?

Email me for any questions and I will try my best to answer them in a video~

don´t stay at hostels in japan, just go to a love motel, similar price, clean as a proper hotel, and always vacant rooms.

Huixin Leila Al says:

Looking at all these vids abt Japan makes me want to go Japan very very much! (~^^)~

Nailea Large says:

this video was great! thanks so much!

GeoAl09 says:

I’d avoid hotels. For cheaper you can book a place on Airbnb.com AND by doing so it’s a more better way of diving yourself into the culture.

If you plan on visiting other major cities in Japan like Osaka, Kyoto, etc BUT you only plan on staying in those cities for maybe 1-2 days, I’d check out Couchsurfing.com. It’s free accommodation and another legit website too. You’ll save a good amount of money.

Dafe Velos says:

zact lee says:

thnx for the video. i have a question. these hostels they charge per head right? im going to tokyo next jan and i was wondering if hotel rooms in tokyo have specified limit person per room. we are 3 people and figure if we stay at a hostel would be expansive than sharing a room for 3 person.

Sagar Rao says:

I spent 2 weeks in various Japanese hostels in Kyoto, Osaka and Tokyo and they were of exceptionally high standards. In comparison to Europe, Japanese hostels are way way above the mark and well worth the price. Japanese attention to detail and sanitation is glaringly obvious even in the cheapest of places. If you are going to stay at a hostel, it is but obvious that you will be sharing showers and other facilities. Since hostels tend to fall at the lowest price range its unfair to expect hotel quality. That being said, average rates for a bed in a dorm in Japan would be about 3000 JPY (a.o. March 2015) – that’s probably close to double of what one would pay in Europe but totally worth it.

nurul dyania says:

What are your thoughts of staying at a love hotel if one is in a budget?

Tessa Taylor says:

Guesthouse caminoro is permanently closed down m(._.)m

Sena Naganuma says:

Amie Nguyen-Vuu says:

HELLO KIMDAO,
THANX FOR THIS VIDEO IT WAS REALLY HELPFUL. I WILL BE TRAVELING TO JAPAN IN THE SUMMER 2016 AND WILL BE STAYING FOR 2 MONTHS FOR SCHOOL. THINKING OF COMING JAPAN 2 WEEKS EARLY FOR SIGHTSEEING, CAUSE IM GOING TO BE BUSY WHEN SCHOOL STARTS FOR ME. BY CHANCE WOULD HAVE THE WEBSITE OF THE HOTEL IN SHIBUYA THAT ACCOMMODATES TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM AIRPORT? THIS WOULD BE TRULY HELPFUL.

Itachi Uchiha says:

Your so helpful and informative. Thank you.

irwan christmas says:
