I’ve loved all these hotel reviews..very cool to see!

You have to realise that Premier Inn is a higher class budget hotel. The price you pay in London is vastly higher than for rooms in the rest of the UK. It is quite common to get Premier Inn rooms for 39 pounds per night outside of London. They don’t include breakfast in the rate because they are a budget hotel and leave it up to the guest to decide on extras. In my opinion the breakfast at Premier Inn is better than many 4 star hotels in London charging 400 pounds per night. By the way, County Hall Premier Inn is famous for it’s rooms with spectacular views. Obviously, not every room can have one. Most Brits see Premier Inn as excellent value for a relatively budget hotel.

Isn’t the aquarium in county hall as well? The building I think you will find is listed so means they are limited on the building work they can do on it , ie, the crittle Windows ( which is their name )

Its Spencer says:

When I stayed in this exact hotel in county hall me and my family were getting
Frustrated because we couldn’t find anywhere to eat out then just as we got
Back to the check in we saw that there was an Italian restaurant over the road
The whole time so we ate there

Jill Hadfield says:

The name is the clue – County Hall. It used to be the headquarters of Greater London Council until they moved out after building a new one further along the river.

Tom Kenning says:

I’m staying here next month, I need to go to a meeting in the House of Commons the next day so it’s a really good location

Great video.

So part of the hotel was an old hospital? I was gonna say when you walked in during the first part of the video it reminds me of a hospital or nursing home! That’s kinda depressing to me. I wouldn’t choose to stay there either.
Luckily, you were able to spend several nights in the other one with the stellar view!

Great review of Premier hotels in London. We reserved County Hall location for trip in October but will be switching to Waterloo location across the street after seeing your reviews of both spots. Thanks for the help.

Connor Smith says:

Hi tami, I stayed here too. I also enquired about the weird blind, I asked at reception at check out and the young lad said it was for privacy for the guests. He said some people felt uncomfortable with the other buildings looking into them. I can see both sides of that tho, good idea to block out view from outside to inside, but could of just put tints on the window so they can’t see in? Sorry for replying so long I stayed here few nights ago and wanted to see how others found it 🙂

jillkristin says:

But what was the “one across the street”???

Xx-Hey it's Bongo-xX says:

Which one is better? Waterloo or County Hall…

postcardterry says:

Premier Inn is famous in Southampton for renting rooms out to grown men with underage girls. Google “Premier Inn staff sold alcohol to underage girls”. Just another shitty company as far as I am concerned.

Hayley Gold says:

why’d you stay at 2 hotels across from each other?
