HONG KONG HOTEL ROOM TOUR | Salvation Army Booth Lodge | Yau Ma Tei | jiro and aina

Hey guys! Welcome to our channel, jiro and aina.
We are travel vloggers and with our videos we would like to share the places that we go to and our experience.

For today’s video we have our Hong Kong hotel room tour. Unlike most Asian countries, Hong Kong is notorious for small or compact spaces.Due to their high rent and lifestyle there are a lot of hostels and backpackers hotel in Hong Kong. This is so as to minimize the costs for travelers. Although the concept is good but their compact spaces are really small. It can barely fit two people plus their luggage. These Hong Kong hotels also have bathrooms wherein you shower over the toilet. For those who don’t mind, this is the perfect accommodation for you at a really low price. They also have the backpackers hotel wherein you share a room with 8 or more people.

But in this video we are going to show you where we stayed and give you our Hong Kong hotel room tour. We stayed at the Salvation Army Booth Lodge. The name may not be appealing but the place really impressed us. We’ve booked a lot of Hong Kong hotels since we travel here quite often. We’ve stayed at small hotels and mid-range hotels. The Salvation Army Booth Lodge is a 3 star Hong Kong hotel but their reviews rate to 9.1. Although the free breakfast wasn’t really much, so don’t expect anything. But it’s the space, location and staff that made us give this Hong Kong hotel a big thumbs up! Let’s talk:
SPACE: we just love this! There’s enough room for leg work, luggage and shopping bags! And you’ll see that at our Hong Kong hotel room tour.
LOCATION: 2 mins walk to Nathan Road and 7 mins walk to the nearest MTR. The vicinity is safe and quiet even at 2am. There’s a 711 store also 2 mins away.
STAFF: they all speak english and very friendly. If you have any questions on directions or where to go. They will help you and even find it for you.

I hope our Hong Kong hotel room tour helped you. We are going to do more hotel room tours in the future.
Have fun watching!
