I wish I was a frequent traveler like you and I love the choices of hotels in your other videos too. Staying at these 4 to 5 star hotels gets quite expensive but still cheaper in Asia than America’s and Europe.
Is the rubber ducky a complimentary item at this hotel? 🙂
I really liked the high-profile, knowledgeable staff and service at the Conrad. I was a bit disappointed by the lounge and the size of rooms. But well it’s downtown Hong Kong… Torsten http://www.mightytravels.com
Wendy: There is quite a bit of English in the big cities in Japan like Tokyo, Osaka, etc. But in the smaller places, the whole “point and order” works pretty good at restaurants… just point at what you want to order :).
I liked the Marriott HK better… I felt the Marriott had overall better rooms, better service, and a far superior breakfast. The Conrad has a better view from the room… so if you’re in it for the view, then the Conrad. But given the choice of the 2, I’d stay at the Marriott HK.

I watched your review of the Marriott HK as well. Which do you think is better?

Thanks! And yes — the rubber ducky is indeed a complimentary item at this hotel 🙂
Great suggestion for next time! I’ll make sure to show the drawers too!
